Arvegenix expands with new facilities at St. Louis’ Helix Center

ARVEGENIX announced today that it is moving its business operations into the Helix Center Biotech Incubator. The Helix Center features offices, wet/dry laboratories and other technical facilities specially designed for life science start-up companies. The Center is also located near the BioResearch and Development Growth (BRDG) Park facility where ARVEGENIX is leasing lab and growth chamber space from St. Louis Community College.
Several students from SLCC have been provided internships to assist in laboratory and greenhouse work projects.

ARVEGENIX is developing and genetically improving Field Pennycress as an oilseed crop that will produce high quality oil for industrial and renewable fuels, along with meal for nutritious livestock feed. Pennycress is a winter crop grown between corn and soybeans when land is idle, therefore providing growers with a revenue generating cover crop.
