LGC announced that it has appointed Brian Kim as Managing Director, Genomics, leading the group’s international Genomics division.

Commenting on the appointment, Tim Robinson, LGC’s Chief Executive said: “I am delighted that Brian is joining LGC. Brian brings a wealth of experience in the genomics and broader life science market, having run large, complex global businesses for a number of major companies; along with international experience and leadership that will bolster our commitment to further expand in key geographical markets.”

Brian Kim joins LGC from PerkinElmer, where he led the Life Sciences and Tools division, managing a global portfolio of various technologies and products ranging from instruments, reagents, service, and software.

Brian holds a Master of Business Administration from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BS in Economics, from the University of Pennsylvania
