ESA cooperates with and supports the Seed Association of Ukraine (SAU)  to ensure a competitive seed sector in the wider Europe.

In the framework of a two day visit to Ukraine, Mrs Siuzana Hryhorenko, SAU Executive Director, and Bert Scholte, ESA Technical Director, had meetings with high placed authorities in the Ministry of  Agricultural Policy to discuss the implementation of the New Seed Law. This video link contains a press conference held afterwards in which Mrs Hryhorenko, Mr Oleksandr Fedorov (SAU president) and B. Scholte  inform on SAU, ESA and their cooperation in support of the European Seed sector. The press conference is mainly in Ukrainian but some parts are in English.
