Haldrup USA opens production facility in Indiana
USA

Of the more than 7 billion people on the planet, almost 1 billion — or nearly 15 percent — live in a permanent state of malnourishment. It is out of a desire to increase food production and eliminate this state that the scientific and agricultural community works hard to develop crops that demonstrate increased yields, increased disease resistance, and increased drought resistance.
HALDRUP USA is proud to be a part of that community and is taking part in this global effort with the opening of its production facility in the town of Ossian in northeastern Indiana.
“The Field Research Industry plays a key role in this important work, and HALDRUP is pleased to support the industry with production of the highest-quality field research equipment,” says Tamra Boucher, HALDRUP USA managing director. “We are pleased to announce our continued role in the global effort to feed world with the expansion of the HALDRUP brand to include production, service, and sales through HALDRUP USA.”
HALDRUP has more than 40 years of experience in supporting field research — from planting to harvesting and beyond. It delivers quality equipment that offers individual solutions tailored to the needs of seed industry stakeholders. With main offices located in Ilshofen, Germany, HALDRUP USA will support North and South American field research with a local team of professionals including service technicians, engineers, sales representatives, and skilled production workers.
“Ossian and Ilshofen share many common characteristics including climate, vegetation, agriculture, and — most importantly — good, honest, hard-working people,” Boucher says. “While these two communities are separated by more than 4,000 miles, they are now united in a common purpose to make this world a better place for more than 7 billion people.”
