Varsaw, Poland

An amendment to the Plant Protection Products Act, dated 8 March 2014, has now been passed by the Polish parliament. The obligation for translating the studies enclosed with the application into Polish has now been abolished and applicants will be able to submit the studies in English.
In addition, this amendment also allows for an extension of product expiry dates in circumstances where additional shelf life testing supports such an extension.
The new Act, which replaces the original Plant Protection Products Act of 8 March 2014, will come into force at the beginning of 2015.
