Russia approves Monsanto’s herbicide tolerant soybeans

Monsanto’s soybean MON89788 tolerant to herbicide RoundUp was approved in Russia for food use and processing and placed on the Federal Register on 19 th January, 2010.
The approval is not time limited.
Currently there are 16 events approved for food use in the Russian Federation.
