Zero Gravity Solutions, Inc. (ZGSI or “the Company”) (Pink Sheets: ZGSI) announced today that it has completed the requirements necessary to license its agricultural product, BAM-FX for sale and distribution in the state of California. The Company is continuing to work with the California Department of Food & Agriculture (CDFA) on label registration and organic certification in order to commence sales. BAM-FX, the Company’s ionic, micronutrient and mineral delivery system for plants, was originally developed for use in the United States Space Program and is now being applied to agriculture here on Earth.
The Company has been conducting field trials on a variety of crops in laboratory and academic settings as well as in field applications on grower/end-user crops. The preliminary results of these trials have confirmed the positive data we had anticipated. Further field trials are currently underway or planned on additional crops in various locations throughout the United States and other countries.
Mr. Don Henry, Government and Technical Liaison to ZGSI and former Director of the CDFA, stated, “From my perspective as someone who has been involved in agricultural matters for over 30 years, a product that has demonstrated its unique ability to systemically deliver micronutrients and minerals throughout a plant at the cellular level may provide solutions to many critical issues facing agriculture today.” Mr. Henry further stated, “The completion of the licensing requirements of CDFA allows the Company to move toward the commercial sale of BAM-FX in the California agricultural market.”
