The UC Davis Seed Biotechnology Center offers courses designed to sharpen technical expertise, strengthen leadership skills, and build real confidence in decision making. From breeding personal to executives, and across, our educational programs address the realities of today’s seed industry.

With in person and online options, there is no excuse to postpone development. Join global peers who are investing in their competitive edge.

Let us learn together and lead, not follow.

June 15-18, 2026
4 day In-Person at UC Davis

SB201 Vegetables: Decisions That Drive Results

The re-branded SB201 moves beyond theory and into reality. Participants will step into a highly realistic seed dealer–genetic supplier case study, built around a fictitious family-owned company in Yuma: Desert Produce Supply (DPS).

Through this live, hands-on case, seed professionals will work through the decisions that truly matter:

• Portfolio strategy and key product decisions
• Channel selection and trade-offs
• Financial decision-making
• Margin, growth, and long-term viability

This is not a lecture course. It’s decision-making under pressure, exactly what seed leaders face in the real world.
