The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host a forage sorghum plot tour on Aug. 20 in Bushland.

The free event will be held from 6-8 p.m. near Bushland Junior High School. To get to the plots, exit Interstate 40 at Bushland and turn south under the highway. Go west on the frontage road for a half mile and follow the sign to the plots. No preregistration is required.

Plot tour agenda

The tour will provide producers with an opportunity to view and evaluate 73 different sorghum hybrids grown in the same production environment. Participants will also receive current forage sorghum research updates from experts.
