Last week, Syngenta Flowers was touring the Westland region (NL) to visit traders and retailers with a true Star. A fully decorated gypsy wagon will have one of the company's exciting innovations on board; Mermaid Lavender. This new hybrid Iberis that has just been launched commercially.

This beautiful flowered plant has all the characteristics that one would expect from this perennial, with the difference that this hybrid Iberis is suitable for summer production! And that feature will let every garden, balcony or terrace shine all summer long with a intense lilac colour. On top of that, the grower will benefit from a production without vernalization, meaning that production time is programmable and the plant can be in store whenever wanted!
