Adam Moats joins Total Seed Production as Quality/Safety Manager

Tipton, Indiana, USA
August 18, 2021

Total Seed Production, Inc. (TSP) welcomed Adam Moats to the organization in July 2021 as the new Safety/Quality Manager. In his role, Moats will be in charge of updating and installing the safety program here at TSP as well as heading the quality side for the ISO 9000 program to ensure the quality of our seed is top-notch for our customers. Moats will also be managing plant maintenance to assist with keeping up with Preventative and Autonomous maintenance. With the growing season well underway, Moats has been able to experience a lot of the company’s operations and culture in a very short time.

A graduate of Tipton High School, Moats quickly joined the US Marine Corps where he experienced two deployments. He held many roles during his time as a marine, including; SAW Gunner, Team Leader, and Vehicle Commander. After his second deployment, Moats moved to Regimental NCOs School Chief and Rifle Range Coach. After his time in the Marines, Moats attended Ball State and became a coach for the Tipton High School wrestling and track and field teams.

Moats later became a production technician at Corteva Agriscience and later moved to Chrysler as a Production Supervisor. “I am glad to say that I am now at Total Seed Production and happy I made the move,” stated Moats. “I am always looking for challenges and ways that I can help a company grow, and from what I heard this place is growing and growing.”

Moats summed up his goal of being part of growing the best seeds in the world with two words; “Let’s win!”
