Arysta LifeScience China and South Asia (CSA) recently announced the introduction of a new combination fungicide, ViGold-T™ Fungicide (fluoxastrobin and tebuconazol), for rice and vegetable growers in Indonesia. Fluoxastrobin is an advanced strobilurin fungicide that provides both preventative and curative control of a wide range of common diseases, in addition to a proven triazole. As the latest generation of this strobilurin chemical class, fluoxastrobin has a highly systemic characteristic − Xylem Pro Technology™ − resulting in better yield and quality enhancement.

“The combination of the two active ingredients in ViGold-T provides growers with a new quality option to enhance yield through effective disease control and improved plant health,” explained Brata  Sedewa, Sales Manager, Arysta LifeScience. “Indonesian rice growers have found that fields treated with ViGold-T demonstrate highly uniform head formation during the milking stage and longer lasting green color of flag leaf. This ensures more effective grain filling, which leads to better grain quality after harvest compared to fields treated with previously available fungicides.”

Arysta LifeScience expects to gain registrations of the product in all major rice and vegetable countries in Asia by the end of 2014.
