This presentation discusses charcoal rot of soybeans. Based on the most recent estimates, charcoal rot is the sixth most serious disease of soybeans in the United States, but its rank increases in years of extensive drought such as 2012. Emphasis in the presentation is on both recognition of symptoms and practical management practices.
