When a builder constructs a house, he does not begin with the roof. He starts by laying a strong, solid and secure foundation. The foundation is the key to the home’s stability. Likewise, soybeans require a resilient and healthy foundation starting with the root system. Having a core foundation and optimal root heath will assist soybeans in reaching their yield potential.

Through innovation, invention and ingenuity, Syngenta continues to improve its market-leading seed treatments. Available for the 2013 growing season, Syngenta will offer CruiserMaxx® Beans insecticide/fungicide, a combination of separately registered products, applied with Vibrance™ fungicide seed treatment.

Vibrance received registration by the EPA over the summer. It contains the active ingredient sedaxane and is the first offering from Syngenta in the SDHI fungicide class for use as a seed treatment. Through its unique and distinctive RootingPower capabilities, Vibrance produces more robust root systems that help soybeans withstand early-season environmental stresses.

CruiserMaxx Beans applied with Vibrance enables plant growth and creates stronger, sturdier and healthier soybeans starting at the roots. Other benefits include enhanced emergence, improved nutrient and moisture uptake, and increased speed-to-canopy.

Additionally, CruiserMaxx Beans applied with Vibrance offers growers unmatched protection against yield-robbing insects and diseases. It shields soybeans from damaging, chewing and sucking insect pests like soybean aphid, bean leaf beetle and leafhopper, while also providing best-in-class defense against early-season seedborne and soilborne pathogens and major fungal diseases such as seed decay, seedling blight and Rhizoctonia root rot.

As the market-leading seed treatment, CruiserMaxx Beans has proven performance across 65 million acres. Backed by Syngenta and its leadership in the seed treatment market, the foundation has been set. In 2013, CruiserMaxx Beans applied with Vibrance will help enhance yield while providing a new foundation to build upon. It will enable growers to start the season strong so they can grow more soybeans.
