Healthy tuber development and higher yields are two common goals among potato
growers. But without a good understanding of the key growth and yield factors,
maximizing success is difficult.
This latest Focus on Potato presentation by Dr. Mike Thornton, Professor of Plant
Science at the University of Idaho, focuses on key factors that influence plant
development at each stage of growth and then identifies how they impact crop
yield.
By the end of this presentation, users will better understand the key growth
stages in potato plant development and how environment and management impact
potato growth and yield.
This 20-minute presentation is open access through November 30, 2012.
