On 10th November, Clause Indonesia inaugurated its new buildings in Magelang, Indonesia, in the presence of local authorities, customers and employees, together with representatives from other Limagrain companies.
This day was an opportunity for visitors to familiarize themselves with the company, which specializes in breeding, producing and selling vegetable seeds to professionals in the sector. There, they were shown the buildings used for storing and packing seeds in controlled conditions, as well as young plants for breeding and production being grown in greenhouses, and the various quality control activities. One of the crop plots displayed the new tropical range for the Indonesian market, produced through HM-CLAUSE breeding.
Formerly Marco Polo Seeds, the company became Clause Indonesia in 2009, at which point it began selling its range of vegetable seeds for the Indonesian market under the CLAUSE name. Now firmly established and with 24 permanent employees, Clause Indonesia has extended its activities so as to supply producers and consumers with high-quality products that are suited to local growing conditions and eating habits. Within an Indonesian market which is wide-ranging and enjoying strong growth, Clause’s top crops are brassica, hot pepper, tomato, melon and watermelon.
