We are looking for a Head, NA Soybean Seed Supply to join our Agricultural Solutions team based in Illinois.

As the Head of NA Soybean Seed Supply, you will provide leadership for the seed supply of soybean seed varieties in North America. You will ensure that the soybean seed supply organization has the appropriate vision, systems, processes, resources, and motivation in place so that our customers have confidence in our supply and experience all the value created in our cotton varieties. Additionally, you will lead in the areas of planning, production, processing, multiplier procurement and management, as well as Cost of Goods determination and management, including the unique and complex requirements related to soybean hedging, logistics, procurement, and quality management, all with strong collaboration.

- Setting a clear vision and communicating objectives to ensure the team understands how to achieve success and can confirm their progress.
- Supporting the sustainable supply of seed through effective planning and execution.
- Fostering team acquisition, development, and motivation by working with managers to identify HR resource needs and implement high-functioning practices.
- Operating the seed supply function with strong demand planning capabilities, ensuring collaboration and transparency with stakeholders to optimize sales opportunities and minimize inventory costs.
- Maintaining a robust quality management program to minimize losses and build customer confidence, ensuring compliance and sustained operational freedom through a culture of quality and ongoing feedback.
If you...
- Have a university degree (BSc or MSc) with a focus on physical sciences; business education is also important.
- 10 years of experience working in supply chain experience, ideally in seed supply.
- 10 years of experience managing multi-level, multi-location teams.
- Demonstrated collaboration abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Possess strong technical skills to provide direction in seed supply and ensure customer satisfaction.

Pay transparency
BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $157,700 - $216,700. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
