August 25, 2010

Wyffels Hybrids has added a third region to its sales structure in Illinois, further expanding the reach of its resources. This region is located in the central part of the state, serving 22 counties and 3.6 million corn acres.

Stan Tarr has been named regional sales manager for this new region, supervising six Wyffels Hybrids district sales managers: Bill Noble, Dean Retherford, Adam Seggerman, Tom King, Galen Hanson and Rod Parkinson.

Prior to joining Wyffels Hybrids, Tarr worked for Monsanto for 15 years, most recently with the Dekalb and Asgrow seed brands. He has also held positions at Growmark-Prairie FS Feeds with their swine and dairy group.

Tarr holds a bachelor’s degree in ag economics, as well as a master’s degree in animal science/ruminant nutrition from the University of Illinois, where he also coached the livestock judging team.
