On June 8, UC Davis Plant Breeding AcademySM (PBA) graduated the sixth class with a session in Davis, California. Over the last two years, eleven participants in this class spent more than 300 hours in classes, workshops and the field, training towards the Plant Breeding Academy Certificate.

The Plant Breeding AcademySM is a premium professional certificate program offered in the USA, Europe, Asia and Africa. Fifteen classes offered worldwide since 2006 were attended by 281 breeders from over 60 countries, making the UC Davis Plant Breeding Academy the most recognized program of its kind.
The next class of the Plant Breeding AcademySM starts in September 2018.
