Australia - An important planting seed update from Cotton Seed Distributors
Australia
October 19, 2017
With planting now commencing across most regions and widespread rain events forecast over the coming days, the 2017/18 cotton season has begun in earnest.
Good planting conditions and a strong cotton price have encouraged both irrigated and dryland growers, and CSD is pleased to report a strong seed supply for anyone still considering growing cotton this season.
Our processing plant has now treated and fully dispatched all current seed orders; however we are holding some stock on the floor (in limited seed treatments) which is available for immediate order and dispatch.
If you have not contacted your CSD Agent and placed orders yet, we strongly urge you to do so now to ensure timely supply of your planting seed requirements.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers and agents who have already placed orders this season, and welcome new growers to the industry. We encourage all growers to visit our online resource platform, Acres of Opportunity, which offers valuable support and tools.
For further information, please contact your local Extension & Development Agronomist.
