France
June 12, 2017
Staphyt has just signed partnership agreements covering the entire American
continent. This French company is pursuing its international expansion and is now
present in 36 countries. Staphyt is a research and regulatory service company, working mainly in agronomy.
These agreements open up new prospects from the east to the west coast of the
United States and in Canada. Staphyt is also expanding its business activities In South America, in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
The aim of this geographical coverage is performance, i.e. to offer its customers the
possibility of testing their products on a range of soils and climates all year round. This reduces time spent on research, which is a valuable advantage in a competitive sector.
Staphyt provides a range of contract services from product testing to obtaining
marketing authorisation. The company conducts laboratory, greenhouse and field
trials. Its strength is having large field plots for full-scale tests. In the regulatory
sector, Staphyt compiles approval applications and, for the last two years, has been
expanding its agricultural expertise in chemical regulations.
Staphyt has a consolidated turnover of €38M, 60% of which is generated outside
France. It employs 425 staff worldwide on permanent contracts.
