The shareholders of InterGrain Pty. Ltd. meet with InterGrain management following the cessation of negotiations with Australian Grain Technologies Pty. Ltd.

The shareholders of InterGrain Pty Ltd – the Western Australian Agricultural Authority and the Grains Research and Development Corporation – met with InterGrain management last week following the cessation of negotiations with Australian Grain Technologies Pty Ltd.
While the GRDC was disappointed the transaction was not completed, the shareholders are confident InterGrain’s variety pipeline affords the company a strong base to re-position itself in the Australian cereals breeding market.
Shareholders, together with InterGrain management, will continue to assess options to ensure InterGrain continue to deliver maximum benefit for Australian grain growers.
