On 2 February a group of eight scientists of the Ctgb (Board for the Authorisation of Plant Protection Products and Biocides) in the Netherlands made a visit to the Germains production facility in Aalten.  The group consisted of scientists from different disciplines interested to learn more about the different methods for seed treatments.

About the Ctgb Visit to Germains Aalten Location

During their visit, the scientists received a tour through the production facility and got a first-hand look at various seed treatment technologies such as pelleting and film coating, which are being used by Germains. There also was an open discussion between the visitors of the Ctgb and local managers of Germains about the legal framework for the application of plant protection and biocidal products in the Netherlands.
