Seedway LLC is pleased to announce an agreement to acquire certain assets of Reed’s Seeds Vegetable Seed and Hot Water Seed Treatment Business, Cortland, New York.

Reed’s is a multi-generation seed business started in 1909. Donald Reed the current owner/operator will retire at the end of the year. SEEDWAY will commence seed sales and service to Reed’s Seeds customers beginning January 2, 2017. Reed’s Seeds proprietary varieties as well as SEEDWAY’s extensive offering of commercial vegetable varieties will be available to commercial vegetable growers through SEEDWAY’s professional sales staff, Commercial Vegetable Catalog or by calling the Elizabethtown Vegetable Seed Office at 800-952-7333.

The Hot Water Seed Treatment service will be conducted at the SEEDWAY facility in Hall, NY under the supervision of SEEDWAY’s Registered Seed Technologist, Jason Perrault. Reed’s Seeds has provided this valuable service to growers for many decades which SEEDWAY intends to continue.
