Distributors event held in June 2016 at Hazera Brazil – A professional training with our portfolio of vegetable varieties

August 8, 2016

Hazera Brazil 1st training event ever was held on 21 to 22 of June 2016 at the Hotel Tryp Cambuí in Campinas.

The event was attended by over 40 participants from various companies that make up our distribution chain in Brazil, as well as our sales and development team, including sales and PD coordinators from São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Bahia and more. In all, more than 50 people attended the training, including our team members responsible for research, breeders from the Brazil tomato breeding, Netta Doitch from Israel and our Regional Product Manager for tomato crop, the South African Arno van Staden.

This event is part of Hazera Brazil’s mid / long-term program, based on an understanding that in order to attain continued growth and success for our business, continuous improvement in the field of training is essential, both for our staff and for our partners.

Event planning took into consideration various factors, such as scheduling the training for the period of Hortitec Fair, presenting a balanced agenda with relevant business and marketing issues such as quality control, customer service, sales projections and seed supply etc., as well as an overview of our portfolio of vegetable varieties enabling us to explore the sales potential of different crops with our partners – all these contributed greatly to the great success of the event.

Great attention was given to details, such as the choice of location, and the participation of renowned consultant Marcelo Melarato, from Melarato consultancy, who gave a seminar about nutrition and plant physiology with a focus on crop breeding, especially tomatoes , as well as a schedule that included opportunities for mingling and interaction between participants. The event also included a Welcome dinner held on the evening of  June 21st, with an outstanding performance of the country music singer Lucyana Villar that was excellent!

We provided participants with all possible logistic support, including a bus to take those interested in visiting the Hortitec on Thursday April 23. The result was a full auditorium from the start to finish of the event. The evaluation forms filled in by participants confirmed the excellent level of the training.
