Takii & Co., Ltd., Kyoto, Japan, and Rito Tohumculuk (Rito Seed), Antalya, Turkey, announced today the acquisition by Takii of the breeding subsidiary company of Turkish Vegetable Seed Company Rito Tohumculuk (Rito Seed). Rito Seed’s breeding division is specialized in breeding vegetable seeds f greenhouse crops, such as Cucumber, Pepper, Eggplant and Melon. By acquiring the breeding division of Rito, Takii will expand its breeding capacity in the vegetable industry worldwide.
