USA - Registration now open for The National Academies' 3rd public meeting for the study on “Future Biotechnology Products and Opportunities to Enhance the Capabilities of the Biotechnology Regulatory System

Registration is now open for the third public meeting on Monday, June 27, 2016 for the study on “Future Biotechnology Products and Opportunities to Enhance the Capabilities of the Biotechnology Regulatory System”.  The meeting will be held in San Francisco, CA and webcast live. Topics covered from invited speakers will include:

  • New Sector Identification
  • Horizon Scanning with Businesses and Academics
  • Small Business Perspectives
  • Potential Risks Associated with Biotechnology in the Environment

This will not be the committee's only information-gathering opportunity, nor will information-gathering meetings be the only mechanism by which the committee obtains information relevant to the topics listed above.

Members of the public will be able to participate as observers via live webcast and in person to preregistered attendees. A limited public comment period will be offered to in-person registrants only.
