UC Davis Plant Breeding Academy graduates the fifth class

Last week the UC Davis Plant Breeding Academy graduated its fifth class with a session in Davis, California. Over the last two years, fifteen participants in this class spent more than 300 hours in classes, workshops and in the field, training for the Plant Breeding Academy certificate.

The Plant Breeding Academy is a premium professional certificate program offered in the USA, Europe, Asia and Africa. Twelve classes offered worldwide since 2006 have been attended by 213 breeders from 60 countries, making the UC Davis Plant Breeding Academy the most recognized program of its kind.
The next class of the Plant Breeding Academy starts in September 2016. Registration is still open for the remaining few spots in the class.
