Keystone Aniline Corporation completes 35,000-square-foot expansion at its liquid dye and pigment dispersion production plant in Inman, South Carolina

Chicago, Illinois, USA
April 29, 2016

Keystone Aniline Corporation marked the completion of a 35,000-square-foot expansion at its liquid dye and pigment dispersion production plant in Inman, SC.  1,500-square-feet of this addition is dedicated to its seed treating solutions group—supporting the organization’s commitment to meeting seed treatment standards on a global scale.

“Expanding our technical application and quality control laboratory enables us to formulate and test products in a state-of-the-art environment—and deliver not only the product—but also the research and data to meet our customers’ needs,” said Adam Wilson, Global Business Unit Manager for Treating Solutions.  “Global standards for seed applied technologies are increasingly difficult to navigate and our methods fall in line with regulations that allow us to help our customer base.”

This location becomes the largest analytical, production, and warehousing facility within Keystone and will nearly double the volume of finished goods for colorants and polymers.  “Our product is supported by solid data—giving an added level of confidence,” said Mike Burbach, Product Manager—Seed Treatment.  “Testing our products in combination with active ingredients from around the industry allows us to bring products forward that perform at the treating location.  This keeps us at the leading edge of seed treatment research and development, while still developing customer solutions and providing world class technical support.”

Keystone Treating Solutions™ colorants and polymers are specifically developed for the seed treatment and agricultural colorants industry.  The expansion will facilitate the full production of the Seed Treatment All-In-One Colored Polymers, a product that improves flowability, plantability, and reduces inert material dust off during handling—while enhancing the appearance of treated seeds.
