Takii 180th Anniversary Open Field Day for Japanese domestic market was held at Kosei breeding station in Shiga prefecture, Japan from November 12th to 14th.

Usually, this open day is only for professional farmers, but we also invited home gardeners of Takii mail-order-members this year.

Thankfully, we received more than 2,000 visitors throughout these 3 days.
Special booth of Traditional Vegetables
In addition to introduce our new and standard vegetable/flower varieties for fall – early spring seasons in exhibition fields, we set special booths and highlighted “Functional Vegetables” and “Traditional Vegetables of Kyoto”.
We publicized our partnership with the Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam at Helianthus booth.
Colorfully decorated booths and tasting corners attracted many visitors.
