AgReliant Genetics recently announced the promotion of Bryan Brochin to Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for the company. For the past five years, Brochin has served as AgReliant Genetics’ Director of Business Development. Brochin will continue his previous leadership of the company’s business development division and will gain responsibility for the corporate marketing department. Brochin will report to Craig Anderson, AgReliant Genetics Chief Operating Officer.
“Bryan’s past experience in agriculture marketing, as well as his excellent work with several AgReliant Genetics’ initiatives have prepared him well for this key new role,” said Anderson. “This position will allow us to intensify our marketing effort and help drive continued growth.”
Originally from Washington, Indiana, Brochin holds a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy from Purdue University and an MBA from Elon University. He started his professional career with BASF as a sales representative in the Ag Products division. After multiple business development and marketing roles at BASF’s Research Triangle Park, North Carolina location, Brochin moved into the strategic group responsible for fungicides in North America. While holding several positions of increasing responsibility, he developed his marketing and strategy acumen. In 2010, Brochin transitioned into the business development role at AgReliant Genetics, supporting projects such as soybean strategy and precision agriculture.
This organizational change is effective immediately.
