It is business as usual for the northern region summer grain and oilseed pathology team following its recent move to the Centre for Crop Health at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) in Toowoomba as part of a strategic new partnership between USQ and the State Government.
With combined experience of more than 70 years in plant pathology RD&E across multiple crops and pathogens, the team is well known for its extensive and long term Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) funded project activities across Queensland and New South Wales.
Disease enquiries and samples for diagnosis for summer field crops, in particular sunflower, sorghum, soybean and maize (and for fababean and chickpea in Queensland only) should continue to be directed to the following pathologists:
Samples by Postage or Courier should be marked with - Recipient Name and Phone Number, Centre for Crop Health, University of Southern Queensland, West St, Toowoomba QLD 4350.
Samples by Personal Delivery - contact the intended recipient, or one of the team, directly by phone to arrange delivery point and time.
