One of Wisconsin’s longest established, family owned, independent seed companies continues to grow, thanks in part to growing demand for AgVenture® brand products and a strong, positive response to the Maximum Profit System (MPS). That’s according to AgVenture Spangler Seed Company Vice President, Jeff Spangler. “We’re proud to announce that we’ve hired Kevin Lallensack (photo) as Ag Yield Specialist. Kevin will fortify our sales force in northwest Wisconsin and will share his expertise with our AgVenture clients across that region.”
Spangler said their customers are very pleased with both the seed and the support they get through AgVenture Spangler. “We’ve had great response to the MPS program because it has delivered increased yields, lower cost per bushel and higher overall profitability. Through the MPS program, our Ag Yield Specialists provide growers with dedicated support throughout the year on every facet of raising a crop: from seed choices to production practices, from agronomic management options to negotiating with Mother Nature. Support like that is unheard of, but well appreciated in Wisconsin. Adding Kevin’s expertise to our team accentuates our dedication to our customers and the MPS program.”
Lallensack has worked in the seed business for nearly 15 years. He said, “I’m pleased to join AgVenture Spangler. The product lineup this company offers is solid. Because AgVenture accesses multiple seed providers, we can offer growers seed that is specifically adapted to our soil types. I look forward to putting my agronomic experience and crop consulting skills to work for my clients.”
AgVenture Spangler Sales Manger Art Tessmann said, “Kevin brings our team two distinct strengths: his agronomic consulting experience and his focused commitment to working with growers to make their fields produce more profitably at every level. He’s a great addition to our sales team serving clients across the state.”
Lallensack is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, River Falls with a degree in agronomy and a minor in business. He and his new bride, Carleen reside at Hudson, Wisconsin.
