The International Working Group on Peronospora farinosa (IWGP) has officially designated the isolate UA4712 as race Pfs:15. This new race of the downy mildew pathogen, which beats the resistance of a number of key spinach varieties, was first discovered in November 2012 in Imperial Valley, USA. The IWGP decided on the designation for the race after thorough evaluation of the significance of this development for spinach production.
Rijk Zwaan’s spinach assortment includes HR varieties with Pfs 1-15 for every season.
Nieuw fysio van valse meeldauw in spinazie benoemd
De International Working Group on Peronospora farinosa (IWGP) heeft isolaat UA4712 officieel benoemd tot Pfs:15. De fysio werd in november 2012 voor het eerst ontdekt in Imperial Valley in Amerika en breekt de resistentie van belangrijke resistente spinazierassen. Na zorgvuldig onderzoek naar het belang van deze ontwikkeling voor de spinazieteelt is het fysio nu benoemd.
Het spinazie-assortiment van Rijk Zwaan bevat HR-rassen met Pfs 1-15 voor elk seizoen.
Nuova razza di peronospora dello spinacio - Pfs 15
Il gruppo IWGP (International Working Group Peronospora) ha dichiarato l’ufficialità del ceppo Pfs 15 della Pfs UA4712 (Peronospora farinosa f. Sp. Spinaciae).
La nuova razza Pfs 15 è stata identificata nel novembre 2012 nell’Imperial Valley, CA, USA. Il Gruppo IWGP ha dichiarato l’ufficialità di tale razza dopo attenta valutazione sulla sua incidenza nelle produzioni di spinacio.
La gamma di spinaci Rijk Zwaan include varietà resistenti a HR Pfs 1-15, adatte per ogni stagione.
