Marrone Bio Innovations appoints George Kerckhove to its Board of Directors

Marrone Bio Innovations, Inc. (MBI) (Nasdaq:MBII), a leading global provider of bio-based pest management and plant health products is pleased to announce the appointment of George Kerckhove to its Board of Directors.

Mr Kerckhove's most recent professional experience included over 12 years with American Standard Companies, where he served as VP and Chief Financial Officer, Executive VP and Global Sector Manager of 21 countries and President and General Manager of the European Division. Prior to that, he served in a variety of positions over a 25 year tenure with The Trane Company in LaCrosse, WI, from Product Manager to VP and General Manager of the Process Equipment Division, and finally Executive VP and General Manager of both the US and International Commercial Equipment Divisions.

Boards on which Kerckhove has served include Merix Corporation in Oregon where he chaired the audit committee, Wellspring International in California, and American Standard Companies in New Jersey.

Kerckhove currently serves on both the Investment and Nomination Committees of the Gundersen Medical Foundation Board of Directors in Wisconsin. He was Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee of the Mississippi Valley Conservancy Land Trust Board of Directors in Wisconsin for 5 years.

Mr Kerckhove's educational background includes 2 BS Degrees in Agricultural Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, an M.S Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and an MBA, all from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
