The annual NAPB/PBCC joint meeting aims to discuss current topics in research in plant breeding. This year’s meeting will focus on breeding for water stress; controlling genotype x environment interactions; objective phenotyping and physiological responses to water stress as well as workshops geared for graduate students on expectations and perspectives for breeding in industry and tools to model and optimize breeding programs. The meeting is known to highlight and encourage graduate student presentations and interaction with scientists and industry sponsors. The speaker list consists of international renowned breeders. The NAPB and PBCC focuses on providing a forum to discuss research, education and policy related to plant breeding.
