Naktuinbouw and the University of Groningen offer workshop on seed identification

Today, the international workshop Seed Identification started. The workshop will take place at 24, 25 and 26 March and is organized in cooperation with the University of Groningen.
For three days, 19 students will learn in an interactive way to treat a total of 14 major seed families. These families represent two-thirds of the total number of plant species. The course is taught by René Cappers and Renée Bekker of the University of Groningen and Anton Grim of Naktuinbouw.

The group is a mixed group of participants from various countries from Scandinavia, Benelux and Eastern Europe.
In addition to the workshop there are also an excursion to FloraHolland Aalsmeer, a visit to the Hortus Botanicus in Leiden and a workshop dinner in the center of Leiden included.
