SCST Genetic Technology Super Workshop
Organized by the Genetic Technology Committee and its Working Groups

February 3-7, 2014
Five comprehensive workshops on genetic seed testing in one week!! The workshops are targeted towards candidates preparing to take the Registered or Certified Genetic Technologist exams, individuals looking for a refresher course on the basics, and those that may just be beginning in this field.
Workshops include lecture, hands-on activities, and materials to take home. Time will also be spent discussing preparing for the exam, genetic testing issues, new technology, additional training resources, and sources of information for testing products.
Cutoff date for registering without penalty: January 24, 2014
NOTE: Next year’s Super Workshop and RGT/CGT testing will change from herbicide bioassay, immunoassay, PCR, and electrophoresis to (1) genetic purity testing, (2) trait purity testing, (3)adventitious presence testing, and (4) general molecular biology and genetics.
Fees: (includes lunch., breaks, and materials): 1st workshop= $100 Each additional workshop= $75
