FMC Agricultural Solutions announces new strategic account executive

FMC Agricultural Solutions announced that Kathy Bayers has been named strategic account executive. In her new position, Bayers will work closely with large-scale retailers nationally to build their businesses with grower customers.
“Kathy brings invaluable crop experience at the key customer level,” said Matthew Foster, FMC Agricultural Solutions strategic accounts manager. “She understands the needs of our national and regional channel partners, which is why we want her working with our valued customers to support their business growth initiatives.”
With undergraduate degrees in business finance and mathematics, Bayers recently worked with FMC Professional Solutions as a key account manager. Her previous work experiences in the crop industry include tenure as a national sales manager for Makhteshim Agan of North America and a sales position with the fertilizer division of Chevron Chemical Company. Additionally, she has worked in sales for Gowan Company, managing 13 Southern states and eventually serving as ornamental focus leader in the U.S. nursery and greenhouse industries. Bayers also managed Sandy Creek Turf, a family sod business.
