Wyffels Hybrids expands its sales force into southern Minnesota

Geneseo, Illinois, USA
December 7, 2009

To meet the growing demand of products, Wyffels Hybrids announced today a new district sales manager to their ever-expanding sales team. Wade Anderson of Clark, S.D., will be the first Wyffels district sales manager in southern Minnesota. Based out of Worthington, Minn., Anderson has more than 10 years of experience in the agricultural industry and will bring the Wyffels’ commitment to growers in his area.

Wyffels’ product performance, genetic diversity and relative maturity range is at a record high, leading to the strongest line-up in the history of the company. With new genetic families in the 96-day range, Wyffels continues to appeal to a wide variety of customers in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota.

Anderson joins Wyffels with a strong understanding of what corn growers in southern Minnesota want and expect from a seed company. He most recently served as a farm manager for Loru Farms in Worthington, Minn., as well as a consultant for Worthington Power and Equipment. Anderson received a bachelor’s degree in agronomy from South Dakota State University.

“The expansion into southern Minnesota is a testament to the quality of our products and the aptitude of our staff. And as the demand for our product increases, we are able to grow our business into additional market areas,” said Jeff Hartz, director of marketing at Wyffels Hybrids. “Wade not only recognizes and understands the needs of growers in southern Minnesota, but his dedication to customer care is consistent with the Wyffels mission. He is an excellent addition to our sales team and we know he will provide growers with our unique message of unmatched customer care.”

Wyffels Hybrids, headquartered in Geneseo, Illinois, is one of the nation’s largest independent seed corn companies. Focusing strictly on developing and marketing elite corn hybrids, the company is dedicated to providing corn growers in Illinois, Iowa, southern Wisconsin and the Ohio River Valley with exceptional products, the latest agronomic information, and unmatched customer service and product support.
