Genallice presents breakthrough test results for GENALICE MAP at the Netherlands Bioinformatics Conference (NBIC 2013)

Wageningen, The Netherlands
May 10, 2013

GENALICE presents breakthrough test results for GENALICE MAP at the Netherlands Bioinformatics Conference (NBIC 2013). The powerful NGS short read alignment software shows a accurate and 200-fold fast performance than one of the most widely used tools, BWA. GENALICE MAP aligns the short reads so efficiently that the fully realignable output file is a 100 times smaller than than the FASTQ/BAM files combined (as currently required for realignment jobs). This makes MAP an extremely cost-effective next-generation alignment solution.
