BioWorks Aads PERpose Plus organic algaecide and fungicide to product mix

Victor, New York, USA
October 25, 2013

RootShield PLUS Granules and WPBioWorks announces the newest addition to their organic pesticide product mix - PERpose Plus™. This hydrogen dioxide-based, broad spectrum algaecide/fungicide prevents and controls plant diseases and algae pre- and post-harvest on crop plants, hard surfaces and potting media.

EPA registered and OMRI Listed for organic growing, PERpose Plus is specially formulated to provide a safer, biodegradable, and sustainable solution that is not harmful to the environment, plants, animals, or people. The product features a patented, proprietary blend of stabilizers and buffers to counteract phytotoxicity and extend shelf life.

PERpose Plus kills algae and fungi immediately on contact, without damaging the plant tissue. It is a clear, odorless liquid that leaves no residue, which makes it an easy, effective alternative to other algaecides/fungicides.

"We're very excited to offer PERpose Plus. The fact that it is engineered with stabilizers to protect the safety of plants sets it apart from competitive products," commented Joe Gionta, BioWorks' Director of Sales and Marketing.

Registration Status

Gionta also states that it can be used in programs with other BioWorks products to offer a "one-two punch" in combating the most stubborn plant disease problems including Botrytis, Powdery and Downy Mildews, Pseudomonas, Fusarium, Black Spot, and many others.

PERpose Plus is available now through distributors in sizes from five to 275 gallon containers. More information on the product can be found at www.bioworksinc.com.
