Verdesian Life Sciences, LLC, has hired Michael King as Vice President, Operations. He will be responsible for Verdesian's business operations with respect to 3 function disciplines; manufacturing, procurement and supply chain including customer service and logistics.

King brings more than 20 years' of experience to the business. For the last four years, he was Operations Manager with Makhteshim Again of North America. Prior to that, he spent almost 20 years working in various positions in operations for FMC Corporation, serving as Scheduler, Planner, Assistant Plant Manager and Plant Manager.

King has a bachelor's of science degree in business management from Jacksonville University. He is certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) through the Association for Operations Management and is a Lean 5S facilitator.
