Joe Tvrdy joined Renze Seeds on November 16, 2009. He will serve as a district sales manager in a territory around Lincoln, Nebraska.
Tvrdy is a veteran of the ag wholesale and retail industry, spending more than two decades in business around Lincoln. He understands the ever-changing seed business and appreciates Renze Seeds’ strengths. “I am excited about Renze’s affiliation with Dow AgroSciences and their access to elite genetics,” Tvrdy explained. “I am looking forward to developing relationships with growers and helping them make the best agronomic decisions possible.”
After earning a degree in agronomy from the University of Nebraska in 1985, Tvrdy went on to receive his Certified Crop Advisor designation in the first class offered in 1992. Then in 1993, he was named a Certified Professional Agronomist. Tvrdy’s career includes time spent as agronomy department manager at Husker Coop.

Tvrdy resides near Lincoln. In his free time, he enjoys golf and being a spectator at sporting events, particularly those of his children. His son, Taylor, is 17 years old, and daughter, Abby, is 12 years old. Tvrdy grew up on a farm near Ceresco, Nebraska, a large row crop enterprise where he developed his appreciation for agronomic issues.
