Integration of AgroSoler into Staphyt

France
September 10, 2013

AGROSOLER joins the STAPHYT organisation and reinforces the European team.

This integration occurs after many years working together, as AGROSOLER was STAPHYT’s long-term partner for trials in Spain.

AGROSOLER’s main station is located near Seville, at Gines (southern Spain). Since 1997 AGROSOLER has been developing thanks to its excellent technical expertise and now covers the whole country. The technical and management team remains in place and will be strengthened and consolidated by STAPHYT’s commercial, technical and registration team in order to go on with the Spanish organisation development. They will so guarantee a close response to Spanish customers.

Joaquin Soler remains the Technical Manager in Spain and the Country Manager and will so guarantee the same high quality level for both European and Spanish Contract Research services as he did up to now.

Joining STAPHYT is a great opportunity to be more involved in European/Global Agrochemical Research Business. We have been working with STAPHYT since a long time and we are familiar with their procedures and working methods. We also have the same quality requirements.” Joaquin Soler says.

AGROSOLER’s team is made up of 18 engineers and technicians and set up trials related to the following areas in the most representative regions in Spain:

  • Arable crops (including cotton, rice, Autumn-drilled sugar beets)
  • Vineyards (table and wine varieties)
  • Orchards (all usual pip and stone fruits including kiwifruit)
  • Citrus (mandarin, lemon, oranges …)
  • Olives
  • Field and glasshouse vegetable crops (and in particular for thrips, white flies, nematodes & soil disease trials, growth and yield enhancers)
  • Ornamentals & nurseries (shrubs, plant pots, bulbs, and cutflowers)

In all countries, all our studies are carried out with the same level of professionalism and quality.
