AgVenture, Inc. (AVI) of Kentland, Indiana has announced hiring Scott Hart as Product/Technical Marketing Director. Hart brings a strong background in seed industry knowledge to this new position. In addition to providing support to the company’s 39 independent Regional Seed Companies, Hart will work with technology and input providers across multiple platforms.

AgVenture Vice President Sales and Marketing, Jim Groepper said, “We’re really pleased to have Scott join our national network of independent Regional Seed Companies. He’ll play an important role in developing, delivering and deploying vital product and technical information to and through our RSCs and their customers.” Groepper added, “This position requires exceptional knowledge and ability. Scott’s experiences across the seed industry uniquely qualify him for this important post. We’re confident in his ability to lead in this essential and evolving position.

During the past 22 years, Hart served in several management roles in the seed industry. Most recently, he served as an area advisor for Monsanto, DeKalb and Asgrow seed companies. He stated, “Working for AgVenture presents a great opportunity to effectively and proactively work with innovative growers and seed companies across the country. It’s a unique channel to the market. Hart is a Certified Professional Agronomist and Certified Crop Advisor. He holds a B.S. degree in Agronomy from Iowa State University. Hart resides in Grimes, Iowa with his wife, Tricia and son, Logan.
