Late Blight Management Updates - Updates on managing late blight in New York and surrounding states

Ithaca, New York, USA
July 3, 2013

Late blight has been gradually making its way northward, with the latest report from Mercer County, New Jersey on June 26th.  If you have signed up for alerts on the usablight.org web site, you will already know this.  If you haven’t, I strongly urge you to do so.  You can receive alerts through email or text message.  The wet weather we’re having is ideal for late blight.  Scout your potato and tomato plantings regularly and be prepared with the most effective fungicides for your production system.
