Pakistan Agricultural Research Council and Hubei Provincial Seed Group sign MoU to promote the development of rice, cotton, maize and oil crops hybrid seeds

Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) and M/s Hubei Provincial Seed Group Co Ltd (HPSGCL) China signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote the development of rice, cotton, maize and oil crops hybrid seeds and the commercial production of these seeds in Pakistan.
D. Iftikhar Ahmad, Chairman PARC, said that Pakistani and Chinese scientists should work together to conduct trials for hybrids/varieties/germplasm testing under different ecologies of Pakistan to determine their productive potential.
Dr. Munir Ahmad, Secretary PARC, and Mr. Guobao Yuan, Chairman (HPSGCL) China, signed the MoU. Dr. Shahid Masood, Member (PSD), DG (P&DD) and other senior officers of PARC also attended the ceremony.
