Westrup improves the global sales force

Slagelse, Denmark
April 2013

Recently, Westrup appointed Carsten Svane as Sales Manager. With his solid experience in sales and new market entries Carsten adds competent knowledge to the global sales team. In addition to his skills within leadership benefiting the team effort, Carsten has a background in sales of technical products of various types, e.g. equipment for silos and conveyers.

“It is very simple; my focus will be to support the customers of single machines, as well as strengthening our position in new markets. Our proactive and dynamic sales team enables us to reach this goal. The intention is to make the global seed and grain industry aware of the qualities of the machinery and equipment we produce at Westrup.” - Carsten Svane, Sales Manager

With the global growth at Westrup, a strengthening of the global sales force has become essential, as customers are seeking machinery compatible with their existing cleaning line, as well as complete solutions that are reaching new levels. Increasing the global sales force is a natural effect of such demands.

Westrup is growing and expanding globally as a result of increasing demands from our customers and due to own strategic initiatives. We see a high demand for complete projects, but also the demand for sales of single machines is increasing. In order to maintain a high focus on servicing and fulfilling the needs of our single machine customers, we have employed Carsten Svane who has a solid experience in account management.” – Helle Aaløse, Sales and Project Director, Westrup.
