On 27 February 2013, the annual Head Cabbage Storage Show was held in Marne, Germany. Organised by Rijk Zwaan in cooperation with Gemüsebauberatungsring Dithmarschen e.V, the event was well attended, attracting over 300 visitors including some 80 international attendees.

The show provided visitors with a clear overview of the complete Rijk Zwaan Head Cabbage assortment. A wide range of products were on display, from small to large heads and including varieties for the production of Sauerkraut. Visitors were particularly impressed by this year’s storage results: it has been demonstrated that the varieties – with up to three different planting dates and plant densities – retain very high levels of quality even after storage.
